| Teeth Whitening At Oak Park Dental Group, we have offered teeth bleaching methods for more than 15 years. We currently feature the ZOOM whitening system—the most advanced whitening system on the market today. Oral Surgery Unlike other general dentistry practices, Oak Park Dental Group has an on-staff oral surgeon. Dr. Eli Horowitz is available for consultations to discuss any concerns and questions patients might have and has extensive experience with complex procedures and general anesthesia. General Dentistry At Oak Park Dental Group, we keep our practice ahead of the curve. Each year we add new products and procedures that raise the level to which we can meet patients’ needs. | Gerald Wine, DDS Dr. Wine completed his undergraduate work at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He received his DDS from the University of Illinois School of Dentistry in 1967 and his IV sedation license from University of North Carolina. Dr. Wine is on staff at Ravenswood Hospital Surgicenter in Chicago. He is a founding member of the Oak Park Dental Group and a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois Dental Society. Alan Robbins, DDS Dr. Robbins completed his undergraduate work at the University of California at Irvine, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1975. He attended Northwestern University Dental School and received his DDS degree in 1979 and distinguished himself with honors courses in crown and bridge. Following graduation from dental school he completed a one-year general-practice residency at Lakeside Veterans Hospital in Chicago. Today, he is our principal crown and bridge staff member. Additionally, with postgraduate training in the restoration of dental implants, Dr. Robbins works closely with Dr. Choi in the replacement of missing teeth using this new technology. Dr. Robbins is a member of the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Dental Society—he has been with the dental group since 1980. Elizabeth Szrom-Gavin, DDS Dr. Szrom-Gavin completed her undergraduate work at DePaul University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. For her DDS, she attended the University of Illinois School of Dentistry from 1983-87. She obtained special training in intravenous sedation in a one-year general-practice residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Szrom-Gavin speaks fluent Polish and frequently draws on her bilingual ability with our many Polish patients. She has been a member of the dental group since 1988. Elias Horowitz, DDS, MS - ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON Dr. Horowitz completed his undergraduate work at Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He obtained his degree in dentistry from the Loyola University College of Dentistry in 1977. That same year he enrolled in the specialty program in oral surgery at the University of Illinois Medical Center. In 1981 he received his Master's Degree and became board certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has completed postgraduate training in dental implants and is on staff at Lutheran General Hospital and Ravenswood Surgicenter. He has been a member of the dental group since 1981 and continues to assist Russian and Polish-speaking patients when translation is needed. Amita Rastogi, DMD - PERIODONTIST Dr. Rastogi completed her undergraduate work at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology. She received her DMD from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA in 2006. Following graduation from Dental School she completed a 3 year residency in Periodontics at New York University's Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, where she served as chief resident in her third year. Dr. Rastogi is proficient in all aspects of periodontology and implant surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and has been with the dental group since 2009. Isaac Yue, DMD, MS - ORTHODONTIST Dr. Yue completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. In 2002, he recieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and obtained a patent for his research in treating gum disease. He then returned to the Midwest to complete his orthodontic training at the University of Illinois, where he obtained his Masters of Oral Sciences and Certification in Orthodontics. Dr. Yue is a Board Certified orthodontist, Invisalign Premier Provider, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Department of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Board of Orthdontics, American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Education Association, American Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society. Connie M. Bosco–Denk, RDH - DENTAL HYGIENIST Connie completed her Associate of Science degree in dental hygiene at Northwestern University Dental School in 1985, becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association, and has been practicing with the Oak Park Dental Group since 1987. |
