Maher Jandali Rifai, DMD, MD
A graduate of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at New York City’s Columbia University and New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Jandali earned his dental degree at McGill University in Montreal and his medical degree at Columbia University.
Dr. Jandali’s extensive training also includes General Practice Residency at Columbia University and an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition, he has worked since 2011 at four different dental offices, focusing on extractions, dental implants and apicoectomy, or root-end resection procedures.
Dr. Jandali has contributed to improving the oral health of the underserved population through mobile dental outreach programs and through participating in Healing the Children cleft lip and palate mission trips to Colombia. His clinical interests include reconstructive and orthognathic jaw surgery, maxillofacial pathology, Botox and Juvederm treatment, and dentoalveolar surgery including wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, and bone grafting procedures.
He likes to spend his free time on outdoor activities, playing soccer and reading. Dr. Jandali is excited to be living in Chicago with his family. Interacting with patients is Dr. Jandali’s favorite part of dentistry. He says, “It’s most gratifying when my patients leave my office happy and satisfied with their treatment.”
